Dope Videos From The Bay Area Vol. 2

Another edition of some brand new videos from around the Bay Area…

E-40 re-established himself as one of the Bay Area heavyweights by dropping 2 albums on the same day this spring. Since then he has had countless hits on the radio, club bangers, remixes, and a gang of music videos. The latest video to emerge from this double release is “He’s A Gangsta” featuring The Jacka and Kaveo. Originally, the song featured Messy Marv as well. that version can be found on thealbum “Revenue Retrieving: Night Shift.” Check out the video with a special cameo from Husalah of the Mob Figaz.

Our next video comes from Thizz Latin’s Goldtoes, he has been working hard lately with San Jose’s own Boogieman. Boogieman also has a single out titled “Womack” which has been blowing up on the radio and the streets. Goldtoes is dropping a new album entitled “The Gold Club.” This brand new video showcases the single “Hard To See” and features Boogieman on the hook. Check it out…

The last video with have is from the Bay Area’s Revolution of the Mind, they released an album entitled “Rebel Rap” several years back but since then have worked on a wide range of new music. The are currently working on a new project and have a released a new video featuring German rap group Snowgoons, they song is titled “Die For My People” you can peep it below…

Last week I had some of the best female emcees in the city of San Jose stop by my spot to showcase their talents. The result was some cool interviews, dope music, and a creative masterpiece that I like to call Illphonics: Ladies Edition. We also dropped Freestyle Friday VI. You can check all this below…

Vida Killz was the first to stop by. She has a number of projects that she’s working on including a solo album entitled “Negative Space” and an album with New Jersey producer Shape, together they are the Broken Heartbeats. This girl produces and writes all her own music, her entire style is fresh. Check out the interview below…

Next to step to the mic was Kalizay. A Cypher Squad representative and a dope emcee, Kalizay came into the studio notebook and pen in hand and began writing as soon as she stepped thru the door. She discussed her new projects and how she feels that she has been overlooked in the local rap scene. This girl is extremely talented and performed 3 songs live on air.
