After a long couple weeks of being offline and without a phone, I am back with a vengeance. My show has continued to grow into the monster that is Illphonics and the past couple weeks I have had some extremely talented guests stop by.

First off was Amon Iller, an artist out of Hayward with a giant Bay Area buzz. We discussed his label, his work with artists, the city of Hayward, and his debut album. Next to step to the mic was Kalizay. A Cypher Squad representative and a dope emcee, Kalizay came into the studio notebook and pen in hand and began writing as soon as she stepped thru the door. She discussed her new projects and how she feels that she has been overlooked in the local rap scene. This girl is extremely talented and performed 3 songs live on air. If you don’t know by now, Solar was Guru’s manager and one of the main reason’s Gangstarr broke up. He also controlled his cell phone, emails, finances, and did not allow loved ones to see Guru as he died. Furthermore, he wrote a fake farewell letter to Guru’s fans claiming it to be from Guru himself. Last week Solar’s Twitter and email accounts were hacked. You can find all the leaked emails below…

The Illphonics Show (March Madness Update)

It has been a crazy month so far, full of family functions, non stop events, and a constant hustle of work. It only continues to motivate me further into the future. That said, The Illphonics Show will be taking a break for the rest of the month of March due to the fact that I will be traveling to do shows in other states and cities. Illphonics will return full strength in the month of April. This is the last season of Illphonics, a new show is on the horizon.

I appreciate everyone who has supported me and I will always give peace and respect back to everyone who has helped me along the way. A great talent of guests have appeared on my show and will continue to do so. Freestyle Fridays has become a giant success. Thank you to everyone who has made Illphonics and Freestyle Fridays the dope showcases that they have become.
