After a long couple weeks of being offline and without a phone, I am back with a vengeance. My show has continued to grow into the monster that is Illphonics and the past couple weeks I have had some extremely talented guests stop by.
First off was Amon Iller, an artist out of Hayward with a giant Bay Area buzz. We discussed his label, his work with artists, the city of Hayward, and his debut album. Next, we had the multi-talented group Soapbox Meldoics stop by the studio. This group consists of Dirty Nate, Anya, Darbie, and Chris. They have currently have 2 major singles on the airwaves and a video for their single “Nevermind” on youtube. I had the chance to discuss their origins, their musical influences and creation process, plus their female singer Anya did a live set on the show.
